"The Slipped Mickey Click-Flip"

10 pgs. Appeared first time in Creepy #54 (1973). Reprint in Eerie #86 (1977).
Story: Doug Moench. Art: Richard Corben.

In Brazil: as "Blip blip click lick" in Kripta #27 (1978).
In Denmark: as "Mickey gled click flip" in Gru #24 (1974).
In France: as "Gadget guillotine" in Creepy [FRA] "annual serie" #23 and Une femme bafouée (1982).
In Spain: as "Mickey el escurridizo click flip" in Creepy [SPA] #4, and as "Ahora te toca a ti el click lick" in Vampus Extra Otoño (1973).

Keywords: Insanity. Surreal. Revenge. Cousin Creepy (also in Eerie version).
Synopsis: Madman Mr. Diment runs surreal scenes on psychology Nugent's family. He also fights all the time with Hugo, his hunchback servant.
Comment: Full of brilliant frames and surreal ideas, but story, by Doug Moench, goes a little bit too far and the ending clue is not so clear. Mr. Diement knocks interesting meta levels with frame borders.
Special: There is two full color frames from the story as a part of five frame collage on the front cover art in Creepy #54 (1973); three other frames are not by Corben. Used frames are: second wide frame from page four, "Omigod Noooooo." (man facing butterfly monsters) and first frame from page six, "Sqwunch" (train driving over man's head).
