to find horrors of past ("The
rats in the walls"). There is a church on the place
of his ancient home and in cellars of it there is ancient Frankenstein-laboratorium.
Guy's ancetor possess' his body and wants to reanimate his deceased
wife.
Comment: B&W artwork is almost brilliant; Corben invents
many interesting faces. Story by Tom Veitch is in the beginning
overcharged by explanations, but later it reforms into an interestingly
bizarre Frankenstein rip-off. The end has not much in common
with the beginning. The story teller is Gurggy Tate, but we can
meet also Zeg.
Alternatives, : Pg
8 totally erased. That page shows a ghoul ceremonially
raping a nude woman (see sample pict). From the title saying, "Part II"
erased.
Special: Skull
Comics #6 has two separate stories, "A Gothic Tale", Part
1 and Part 2. Both are written by Tom Veitch; first is drawn by Greg Irons
and second
by Corben.
